I’ve begun work on Time Travel 2. 😀
The reviews and sales of Time Travel Inn have been terrific, so a thousand thanks to all of you who made that happen! Now Astrid, Damien, Trent, and even Davy Cricket are off on another series of adventures. But what should we call the new book? I mean, there is a Motel 6, so maybe just Time Travel Inn 2? Or something more creative, like Time Travel Inn-N-Out Burger? 🤔

Every kid should have at least one teacher who sees something special in them. For me, it was my 4th-grade teacher, Mrs. Shaw. She beamed unconditional positive regard at us each day, and I *wanted* to do well in her class. It’s almost funny to remember how much voluntary reading I did that year. (Book reports! SRA! More book reports!) Mrs. Shaw encouraged our creativity, and her class was just darned fun.
That’s why I dedicated Time Travel Inn to her. Thank you, Mrs. Shaw!
